Open enrollment is quickly approaching! The East Texas Benefits Coop is scheduled to open July 5th and close August 18th for Open Enrollment.

Here’s what’s changing:

Vision is changing to MetLife Superior Network Vision with two plan options. Short and Long-Term Disability will also change carriers to Lincoln Financial.

For Existing Employees

1. All employees are required to complete their open enrollment.
2. Update your mailing address, phone, and email preferences.
3. Confirm your eligible dependents.
4. To change your BCBS PCP, call TRS‐ActiveCare Customer Service (866‐355‐5999)
5. Select the best coverage for you and your dependents.
6. Confirm your beneficiaries.

For New Employees 

1. You are required to log in THEbenefitsHUB and enroll or decline medical coverage for yourself and/or eligible dependents within 31 days of employment.
2. You will need your dependent’s SSN to complete enrollment.
3. Have your BCBS PCP number ready.
4. Know who your beneficiaries are and their information to finalize enrollment.

*Call Customer Service: 1-866-914-5202 Monday-Friday 8:00am-7:00 pm. English and Spanish enrollers available to answer questions and assist with enrollment.
